Summary:
Performs a variety of Accounts Payable (AP) duties including, but not limited to, reviewing supplier invoices, vouchering supplier invoices to system receipts, coding invoices and posting of invoices into the ERP system.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsible to audit all invoices against system Purchase Order (PO) receipts.
Ensure all billing prices and quantities match PO and the General Ledger (GL) account is coded correctly to invoice.
Work with Purchasing Department to resolve any pricing and/or quantity discrepancies.
Follow up on any discrepancies until resolution is found.
Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances, including processing a weekly AP check run and match all invoices to checks.
Scan and file all AP checks and supporting invoices ensuring complete accuracy and maintenance of records.
Provide professional, excellent customer service while working with suppliers to resolve disputes on open invoices relating to pricing or quantity issues.
Summarize and process daily Accounts Receivable (AR) deposits and give check stubs to AR for Posting.
Accurately scan checks into banks remote deposit software.
Present a professional image of Crystal Finishing Systems at all times, providing excellent customer service internally and externally.
Maintains confidentiality of business information.
Desired Minimum
Qualifications:
Knowledge of Accounts Payable systems normally acquired through an Associate's Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
3 to 5 years of experience working in Accounting Department within a manufacturing environment preferred.
Must have a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to perform math such as adding, subtracting, multiplication and division.
Proficiency in Microsoft software such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Experience with Epicor software beneficial.
Ability to work in a team or independently.
Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
