The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, Quickbooks experience and possess excellent data entry skills.
As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
Responsibilities - Process and review invoices for accuracy and completeness - Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents - Enter invoices into the accounting system with proper coding - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Prepare and process weekly check runs - Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions - Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner - Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable Qualifications - Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar role - Proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting software - Strong technical accounting skills, including knowledge of general ledger accounting and corporate accounting principles - Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy - Ability to analyze financial information and identify discrepancies - Familiarity with UltiPro, PeopleSoft, or similar HR/payroll systems is a plus - Knowledge of accounts receivable processes is a plus - Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information We offer competitive compensation and paid time off.
