General
Summary:
Under general direction, provides an expert level of designing and developing complex software applications of diverse scope. Provides input to evaluate, and recommend appropriate new application technologies/solutions for the organization. Works closely with analysts to understand business processes/procedures and solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Has the ability to understand and prepare complex technical specifications from which applications will be developed. Responsible for code reviews to assure quality. Coaches and mentors other developers.
Principal Duties and
Responsibilities:
Develops, modifies and maintains application software that supports internal and external business processes of Greenheck that may be complex or sensitive in nature. Develops application and training documentation for software.
Meets with users, analysts, project leaders and management to discuss and plan guidelines and criteria for development of a system/application, project plan, and/or timelines.
Creates application documentation that is clear, succinct, accurate, and appropriately detailed. Troubleshoots complex application issues and provides debugging support as needed. Creates and updates coding standards.
Ability to understand the root-cause of complex problems, research and propose possible solutions both in scope of Greenheck systems and other available technology.
Ability to lead a group through the testing and solution process including the creation of the solution, development of budget and describe/sell chosen solution.
Ability to manage medium to large-sized cross-functional projects. Ability to establish project priorities and deadlines.
Frequently communicates with the business/system analysts and management in the development process and has a strong understanding of business processes. Has strong interpersonal skills that help build strong relationships with peers, management and customers.
Is able to communicate complex technical information to varied audiences in a manner that they are able to understand. Is able communicate business value of solutions effectively in terms of ROI, sales growth, and other key business drivers. Is able to effectively train other technical professionals on complex technical materials.
May have indirect supervision over medium to large-sized project teams. Provides mentoring for other employees.
Business Unit Specifics:
SAP Portal development, administration and troubleshooting
Programming experience with Java and J2EE including EJB development
Java web applications development including JSP/Servlet and MVC architectures
Development of application integration interfaces including web services and JMS
Design, development and support of high scale web architectures using SOA
Define data security, encryption and resiliency standards
Develop standards for naming describing, governing, managing, modeling, cleansing, enriching, transforming, moving, storing, searching and delivering data.
Publishes data integration architecture principles and standards, best practices, patterns and frameworks
Experience with MDM, ETL, BI, EDI, ActiveMQ, .NET and ABAP a plus.

Qualifications:
Work requires a professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, which is equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regular four-year college program, or a two year with a minimum of 12
years of related work experience.
A minimum of 10 years of progressively more responsible work experience is required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
