General
Summary:


Identifies and drives the development of new business opportunities to a targeted customer base to support Precision's replacement coil growth strategy. Responsible for product development and life cycle management for the business unit. Includes defining new product development; short and long-term strategy development for expanding and updating products development; and managing marketing and promotional tools (including software enhancements); pricing and profitability management; assisting with technical training; and creating product health analysis studies based on market, competitor, and sales channel information.



Principal Duties &
Responsibilities:


  • Identify and implement new business opportunities and sales growth strategies for targeted segments and accounts.
  • Research, prospect and qualify potential accounts; analyze and interpret customer needs to develop compelling value proposition.
  • Identify and drive growth opportunities for targeted accounts.
  • Develop and deliver powerful sales presentations that effectively demonstrate Precision's solutions to potential customers and decision-makers.
  • Research and develop robust pipeline to continuously grow segment and business.
  • Maintain high level of customer engagement and follow-up through ongoing communication and customer visits.
  • Collaborate with Precision marketing, engineering and operations to continue to propose new product solutions or improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with segment and industry trends

  • Develop long-term relationships with internal and external customers to maintain market position as easiest company to do business with.
  • Negotiate with internal and external customers to find mutually beneficial solutions to field problems.
  • Participate in industry related associations; may serve on committees and advisory boards.
  • Responsible for leading and developing business unit application support.
  • Work with Marketing to oversee the lifecycle of product marketing materials.
  • Prepare product studies for new and redesigned products.
  • Research competitor products, pricing and strategies.
  • Define product development requirements through creation of market studies, sales feedback and customer feedback.
  • Launch and promote products
  • Ensure product profitability meets or exceeds business unit targets.
  • Constantly evaluate all aspects of our competition and compare to the company's strength and weaknesses.
  • Report feedback on competitor's information, new and product line extensions and execute promotions.
  • Develop and coordinate product, sales and application training for internal and external customers.
  • Works closely with Marketing to creating market message and product presence for training and industry product shows
  • Attend trade shows, rep product shows and conduct sales calls on channel partners and customers, looking for feedback relative to delivery, pricing, quality and breadth of product offerings.
  • Provide strategic vision for long term planning of selection software.
  • Use competitor knowledge and industry trends to develop strategic marketing direction for the business unit.
  • Create and maintain sales forecasts.
  • Up to 50% travel will be required.


Job
Qualifications:


  • Work requires a professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, which is equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regular four-year college program.
  • Minimum 5 -10 years of experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience.
  • HVAC industry experience preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
